About Nathan Jobb's photography

I am a passionate young photographic artist and photographer trying to start off strong, building my photography business and I thought one of the best ways to do that was having a website. What this site is used for is being a place for me to sell my photos and for people to be able to contact me if they would like to get me to do a custom project (like create a logo for them) or if they would like to hire me as photographer and/or photo editor with good quality services at reasonably low prices, people can also contact me for photography advice or help.

  • What services do you offer?
If you want to hire me for something or pay me to do a service you can use the list below for a checklist of what things I will and can do pretty well and anything not on list you can contact me and see if I am able to do it but it may only be ok work on those tasks meaning i can do it good enough to be minimum, everything on list is something I know I can do well and it will be better then the average: - Photo munipulation that is involving contrast, brightness, color fixes & changes, and other things dealing with contrast, brightness, colors and saturation of things - Taking photos of certain subjects upon requests - Design Logos and other simplistic designs and illustrations ( best at logos) - Photo munipulation involving wanting different filters, exposures, backgrounds, cosmetic fixes and other similar things - Taking Photos for certain events and other photography requests
  • How do I make my photos have the subject in focus and the background blurry?
In order for you to do this you need to use shallow depth of field and the way to get shallow depth of field is by using AV mode on camera and putting it on a smaller F/stop the exact smallness depends on how blurry you want the background to be
  • How can I take a good picture if I have shakey hands?
If your hands shake too much and you always wind up taking the family pictures, you can make sure that the photos will not be blurry by putting the camera on TV and put it on a fast shutter speed and adjust it based on how shakey your hands are as well as how good the camera is
  • How do I stop my picture of moving things from being blurry?
if you are taking photos of objects that are in motion and don't want it to be blurry then you must use a composition called freeze motion; to do this you must put the camera on TV which is shutter priority and then use a shutter speed of about 1/50 and adjust it depending on how fast the subject is moving.
